THE WILBERT COFFIN CASE
.
.
ONE FINAL DELAY
.
It is necessary to delay the posting of the conclusion of the Wilbert Coffin case for a few days . This delay is brought on by our current investigation concerning the mining claims owned and staked by Wilbert Coffin.
.
Though the outcome of the claims investigation will not affect the criminal outcome of the story, it will most definitely assist in being able to discern the reasons as to why certain things were done.
.
For the record, it would appear that a person or persons unknown re-registered claims in 1964. We are now in possession of the government maps and the claim numbers in question. It is our goal to discover the facts surrounding this affair and the names of those involved. Very definitely, these events all play a role in the final conclusion of the Wilbert Coffin affair.
.
I am sure you realize and understand that these things take a bit of time, and much water has gone under the bridge in the past half century. It is however, important that we explore all avenues so that we can formulate the most accurate picture possible of the complete chain of events of this affair.
